Message from the Director

Dear student,

I hope you will join our Community English as a Second Language Class. It is an excellent place to practice your English because you get to talk to a native speaker for a full two hours each week. The lessons are interesting and designed so that you have lots of time to repeat the new words and grammar structures that you are learning.

In addition to high quality lessons, you will also find a warm and welcoming community of trained volunteers and students from all over the world. It is an opportunity to be in control of your own learning and meet some great people at the same time.

If you are ready to see major improvements in your speaking skills, join us every Thursday at 6:00. I look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,

Lindsey Masterton Mahan, Director, The Language Learning Center

Our Address is 341 N. Orlando Ave. Maitland, FL 32751.

How to Get Here By Bus

There is a bus stop right in front of the church, at the corner of N. Orlando Ave and E. George Ave. in Maitland.

How to Get Here by Train

We are a very short walk from the Maitland SunRail stop. After disembarking, either walk South along 17-92, or walk across the tracks (at the appropriate place!) and take the boardwalk through the woods and turn left onto Robinhood Drive. Robinhood Drive will merge into Gamewell Ave. Cross Sybelia Ave and walk through the 7-11 parking lot. We’re just on the other side. It’s about a half-mile walk from Maitland Station.

Parking

We have three parking lots. Two on either side of the two church buildings, and one across George St. The closest parking lot to our room is next to 7/11.
